First Cut! Youth Film Festival: Call for Entries
First Cut! Pop-Up Youth Film Festival Youghal, Co. Cork, Ireland
February 28th-March 1st
Open to all filmmakers between 12 & 21
Submission Deadline: January 10th 2014
No Entry Fee!
We are now accepting submissions for the next First Cut! Youth Film Festival.
We are looking for short films (15 minutes or less) in the following categories:
Animation, Fictional Shorts, Documentaries, Music Video, Schools Projects, Short Shorts (One-Minute-Wonders).
The festival will take place in Youghal, February 28th-March 1st, and offers an exciting opportunity for young filmmakers, aged 12- 21, to gather in a vibrant festival atmosphere for a rare chance to network and showcase their work.
All you need to do is fill in an entry form and send it in to us with a copy of your film. To download an entry form and a copy of the submission guidelines, click on links below:

Post a copy of the completed entry form along with a standard DVD (NOT a video file) to:
First Cut! Youth Film Festival, c/o Cork Film Centre, Civic Trust House, 50 Pope's Quay, Cork.
Our Deadline is January 10th 2014.
You may submit more than one film, but each film must be on a separate DVD and have its own entry form.
As well as screenings of works by young filmmakers, the Festival will also include workshops, performances and the rare opportunity for budding filmmakers to learn from, and engage with, professional filmmakers. Panel discussions, Q&A sessions and hands-on workshops will take place in the Mall Arts Centre and in a variety of other locations throughout the town during the Festival.
